whoahorse Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Some of my accounts have a very new cpanel look, others seem to have an older version. I have always wondered why? Does anyone know? Weezy Quote
MikeJ Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Can you elaborate? Are you using the same themes in all of them? Quote
whoahorse Posted April 21, 2005 Author Posted April 21, 2005 Yes, I set them all up the same? But I notice some of them have a more 'futuristic look' to them? Weezy Quote
abinidi Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Here are differences between the cPanel on two of my servers. Server 40: Server 76: I *MUCH* prefer the list on server 40 as opposed to the huge array of icons on server 76. It is so hard to find things when they aren't categorized. I'm not sure if this is the same thing Weezy is talking about, but I've wondered why these are so different. I haven't figured out how to configure cPanel to show a list... Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Paul, those are two different cPanel skins. You can request a change by opening a ticket with the help desk. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Weezy, when you create packages you can choose which cPanel theme to use. Check which theme you are using between the two. Quote
whoahorse Posted April 22, 2005 Author Posted April 22, 2005 Thanks Bruce - I will look right now! Weezy Quote
MikeJ Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Two versions.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just for reference as you're looking into your package settings, the one on the left is called Tree and the one on the right is called X. You shouldn't really use the tree version anymore. It's an old skin and won't work 100%. Quote
j2k4b Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I would rather have the list too. How do I request it? Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I would rather have the list too. How do I request it? By submitting a ticket. Quote
j2k4b Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I submitted a ticket. Thanks Abdul for setting it for me. Quote
