Thumper Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Not sure if this is the best place to ask or not, but I would like to know how to put the amount of monthly traffic (from awstats) on a page inside my public_html folder. I want to say something like " We have currently had xx unique visitors this month." Also, I have tried removing my ip address's from the awstats, but it always seems to be overwritten. Thanks for any help. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Not sure about the first part but to keep your IP blocked after editing the .conf file change the permissions of the file to 444 so it will not be overwritten. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 You are using php nuke, why not use the statistics module? Quote
Thumper Posted April 4, 2005 Author Posted April 4, 2005 You are using php nuke, why not use the statistics module? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Awstats is more accurate and customizable. The two have very different amounts. Also, because a month or so ago, I purged the table in nuke. But mostly, because I want to get a unique count. Instead of amount of visits. TCH-Bruce thanks for the help with that one. I've been trying to figure that out for a few weeks. Quote
