lhn Posted April 21, 2003 Posted April 21, 2003 Question for all Horde webmail user... I can't find my email messages that were left in the inbox. Seems like that Horde webmail delete or move email messages that are 3-4 days old from the inbox. Can someone tells me where Horde stores these messages or if there is a setting in the options that I need to set. Thanks. -Linh Quote
KevinW Posted April 21, 2003 Posted April 21, 2003 In general, web mail should not be left on the web host for an extended period, but downloaded to your computer. By default, most PC based email clients are configured to download incoming mail, and then delete it from the web server. Is it possible that's all that has happened? Horde mail, will prompt you every month whether to do file maintenance on your email boxes. -kw Quote

There's a setting somewhere what lets you see hidden/read messages. Quote
boxturt Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Does this also hold true for Neo-Mail? And what about folders set up aside from the default ones? Quote
TCH-JimE Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Hi, I am one who uses Neo mail and it has yet to hide any of my emails Jim Quote
boxturt Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 I sent a test mail last night to my account and this morning it's not in either Neo-Mail or Horde. (it was there) -Ty Quote
TCH-JimE Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Hi, How did you check it? Via the webmail version? If your worried, drop a help ticket in and we shall take a look Jim Quote
boxturt Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Yes, I mailed something to me at info@lyricsplayground.com and it arrived safe and sound when checking for it via webmail. When I checked this morning, again directly via Neo-Mail, it was not there. ty Quote
TCH-JimE Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Odd. Unless u want to start a help ticket or PM me your details I dunno what else to suggest as mine is always left well alone! Jim Quote
boxturt Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 Thanks for your suggestions. Seems to be ok now. I notice also that my usage stats in Cpanel have settled into where they should be. Very scary boys and girls Quote
