That reminds me of how my dad would "stop the pain" of a rabbit he shot but wasn't dead... hold him by his hind legs and put the shotgun barrel across the shoulders and then rapidly swing it down across the neck and back of the head. It sounds cruel but we always ate what we shot and if the bunny was suffering it was a swift end to the pain. Quote
