tamda Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Hi All, Does anyone know if there is a way (within TCH) to: 1) Lock an account if someone fails to enter the appropriate login information (say, 3 times) to a secure page? 2) Log who is trying to access your secure pages? Just pondering if anyone else come across the same concern as me. Thanks. -Dave Quote
TCH-Rob Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Dave, You might want to try looking at hotscripts.com and see if there is something that would fit the bill. I can’t say I have used anything like that before. Lets see if any one else has a possible answer. Quote

Also...is it possible to check and see if someone is trying to hack into my cpanel? -Dave Quote
TCH-Rob Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Dave, Try checking your logs. It is in your cPanel. Quote

btrfld Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Hi Dave. I recently had occasion to look for such a script. Check out this article on SitePoint: ht*p://www.sitepoint.com/article/users-php-sessions-mysql It's a basic but complete user management script that I think you could adapt to your purposes. Quote
