jandafields Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Can anybody shed some light on this: I registered at the forums at www.winamp.com with my tch email. The activation email never came to my email. I registered again with another email from the same tch account. Again, the activation email never came to my email. I registered a third time with a Yahoo account and the activation email came immediately to the Yahoo account. I had Spam Assassin disabled during this time. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Don't have an answer but have more questions. You read your Yahoo mail with a web broswer, right? How do you read your TCH mail? With webmail or email client? If an email client, do you have filters set in your email program that would delete the message without ever showing it to you. I have several filters set up in my email client to delete messages from the server without ever downloading them. Quote
jandafields Posted December 6, 2004 Author Posted December 6, 2004 I use webmail to read my TCH email. Quote

TCH-Thomas Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 I just tried sign up at the winamp community (assuming its the one you talk about) with my tch-emailadress. It went good. Quote
jandafields Posted December 7, 2004 Author Posted December 7, 2004 I just disabled spam assassin and tried again. No email arrived. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 I just disabled spam assassin and tried again. No email arrived. You dont happen to have spam box enabled? If so, disable it and give it a try. Quote
jandafields Posted December 7, 2004 Author Posted December 7, 2004 I have never had spam box enabled. I have a filter to discard all mail caught by spam assassin, but I turned off spam assassin a couple of the times I registered. Quote
