ItsJustMe Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Hi, I have several questions. 1) My awstats haven't updated since 11/29. Is there a glitch? 2) At my old webhost, there was an "update now" link available where we could update the stats at any time. Does your cPanel version not have that? 3) My outgoing email seems to have stalled. I haven't changed anything so I was wondering if it's on your end. Let me know if you need the error message. Thanks for any help you can provide. Dianna Quote
Virtual Imager Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Hi Diana... I've had awstats not update for me a couple of times. I submitted a ticket to the help desk and they took care of it right away. Click on the Help Desk link at the top of this page. We don't have the Update Now feature here... I think it puts too big a load on the servers because there are so many accounts. Re outgoing mail.... check to see that you ISP has not blocked Port 26. I use my ISP to send and mail.**** for incoming mail. You can also change your outgoing mail port to 25 in case 26 is blocked (I may have those numbers reversed...). Hope this helps... VI Quote
ItsJustMe Posted December 2, 2004 Author Posted December 2, 2004 Thanks VI, I'll submit a ticket. My outgoing email is finally working again now, so that's not a problem anymore. Thanks again! Dianna Quote
surfdean Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 My awstats is also not updated. I just submitted a ticket, but what happened? I downloaded the raw access logs to look at instead but it's so much prettier with aw Quote
Beltza Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 If you want the 'Update now' button, you'll have to edit your AWStats configuration file (usually /home/example/tmp/awstats/awstats.example.com.conf). Look for a parameter called AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser. After saving your changes you'll have to change the permissions on the file to 444, or else it will be overwritten by the next update. Quote
