GroovyFish Posted November 22, 2004 Author Posted November 22, 2004 Thanks guys! I am so glad you like it. I've had a site up for our store for a couple years, but wasn't really happy with it. So I just revamped it using Zen-Cart and now that I am happy with it, I thought I would go ahead and get it added to the family Thanks again! Ellen Quote
Arta Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 Hi GroovyFish! I saw your recommendation in these forums for Zen-Cart and am setting one up myself. So far I really like their layout. One thing I am having trouble with is setting the cookies for return customers to not have to log back in every time the browser is closed. I am not very good at this stuff and I did notice your site is set to leave them logged in. (I just created an account and checked, I hope you don't mind) ... Anyhow, could you help me out with that? Site is www.discountvalley.com Store is www.discountvalley.com/dvstore Quote
GroovyFish Posted December 11, 2004 Author Posted December 11, 2004 Hi Laura! To be honest, I don't recall making any changes to the cookie settings...however I was working on this on and off for a couple of months so I could have done something at the beginning that I don't recall (heck, I can't recall what I did last week LOL) I'll PM you the settings I have in Admin under Sessions to see if they match up with yours. GroovyFish Posted December 11, 2004 Author Posted December 11, 2004 Laura, I am wondering if it could be your browser settings??, I logged in and closed the browser and when I went back, I wasn't logged in. I think for security reasons, that this is really the way it should be so if someone else uses the computer, they aren't already logged into someone elses account. Sending a PM with other information Ellen Quote
youneverknow Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Very Professional looking site! I give it two thumbs up. One small problem...In the grinding mill area there is no photo for the Clove Grinder’s Mill. Everything else I checked looked splendid...Best of luck on your venture. youneverknow Quote
GroovyFish Posted December 20, 2004 Author Posted December 20, 2004 Hi youneverknow! Thanks very much! I'm glad you like the site! The Clove Grinder's Mill is relatively new and I haven't been able to get a photo yet, but, I am heading to St. Louis (where the store is) to be with my family for the holidays and I'll be taking lots of new product shots!
