dbrown Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 I just signed up for hosting. My question is this. I host my DNS with EasyDNS and have extended services with them. I do not wish to make TCH name servers my domain's main name servers as I would lose the services I've signed up for. Will I be given an IP address that I can enter for my domain, or is what I'm reading about how I have to make TCH name servers my main name servers? ugh, David Quote
TCH-Rob Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 IP addresses ahould be included. Otherwise a simple ping should give those results. NS1 = 64.246.50.105 NS2 = 65.254.32.122 Quote

NS1 = 64.246.50.105 NS2 = 65.254.32.122 Actually, I mean the IP address of my website (server) I do not wish to have TCH name servers my domain's primary name servers. I wish EasyDNS names servers to be the primary name servers. I paid extra for extra services that EasyDNS provides. If I make TCH's name servers my primary name services, all those services I paid for become moot. (stealthy URL remapping, backup mail servers, map subdomains anywhere I want them (including steathy URL remapped ones) among other services. Thanks for your reply! Dave Quote
