Hi folks,

I paid for my first year with TCH through PayPal.

At Paypal, I went to remove my credit card which I don't normally leave on file. I add the card and remove it as necessary to make transactions. For example, if I buy an item on ebay, I add my card and make the payment. When the transaction is complete, I then remove the card.

For obvious reasons, I don't want to leave my credit numbers filed anywhere any longer than necessary.

I have paid for my first year at TCH, the transaction is complete. In other words, TCH was paid the fee for one year. I went to remove my credit card number from my PayPal account the same as I always do after a transaction is complete.

When I click the button to remove the credit card, I get a message telling me that my subscription will automatically be cancelled. What the heck is that about? I already paid for a year. I don't want to cancel my deal.

I don't want to cancel my subscription. I will pay again next year when the time comes.

I don't want to leave my card on file permanently at PayPal. I add it only to make payments and then remove it.

I intend to remove my card from PayPal and I DO NOT want to cancel my deal with TCH.

I have paid my first year already.

What gives?

I think this might be because its "recurring billing" in other words, as long you dont cancel your account its supposed to automatically bill you each year. But as you said it should work anyhow. The best you can do is to submit a ticket to sales or call them. Unfortunately their open only mon-fri but hopefully a staff person will see this and tell you exactly whats needed to do.

Take a look at Frequently Asked Questions About Billing and you will find a link to the billing systems. I am not sure about 2Checkout but in PaySystems you can cancel recurring billing.

OK Dick, except he is using PayPal.

;) Once again I missed something.

When you cancel a subscription from your PayPal account, it will not cancel the account with TCH. The only thing that gets canceled is future payments.
