I have an account on server 60 and another on (I think) 70 (haven't used this one in a while) and I believe the layout for my cpanel is different on each account. Am I seeing things, or what? I really, really like the layout on server 70 much better. :-P

You probably have a different skin (theme) on each account. Open a ticket at the help desk if you would like them changed to the same.

There seems to be V1 and v2 of CPanel running on TCH. I had my CP change from v1 to v2 and then back to v1 once. I found v2 to respond quicker. When my CP reverted to v1 I sent in a ticket requesting v2.

All is good in the v2 world.

I just opened a second tch hosting account and each account has a different layout but both say they have the same "Theme cPanel X v2.5.0" according to cPanel.

How many options/layouts are there?

I also noticed that one of my accounts has a "Shared Ip Address" listed in the "General Information". Any idea what this is?

I also have different Perl versions. Can the servers be updated so they have the same version of software? I am on server 85 and server 44.

Thank you.

I don't know how many there are but you may request a skin change through the help desk (link above).

That is the IP address of the server you are on.

You would have to use the help desk to get this one answered.

Does anyone know what the different skins are? I would like to know what choices are available otherwise I won't know which skin to choose.

Why doesn't my second account have a "Shared Ip Address"? It's not a dedicated server.

Will do, thanks.

All accounts have a shared IP address (unless you have your own SSL certificate). Some servers just simply have that field display turned off.

I just ordered my 4th hosting package with TCH and I noticed that the cPanel theme for the new site is "cPanel X v2.5.0". That is also the 'theme' version as another of my cPanels.

The thing is that the look/layout for cPanel, on the new site, is less preferred by me.

How can I get my cPanel interfaces to look the same?

I believe, but can be wrong, that the cpanel skins name are mentioned in the url so just check in the address bar what the skin is called that you want and tell them that name.
