filefly Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I have an account on server 60 and another on (I think) 70 (haven't used this one in a while) and I believe the layout for my cpanel is different on each account. Am I seeing things, or what? I really, really like the layout on server 70 much better. :-P Quote
TCH-Andy Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 (edited) You probably have a different skin (theme) on each account. Open a ticket at the help desk if you would like them changed to the same. Edited November 4, 2004 by TCH-Andy Quote
waynemac Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 There seems to be V1 and v2 of CPanel running on TCH. I had my CP change from v1 to v2 and then back to v1 once. I found v2 to respond quicker. When my CP reverted to v1 I sent in a ticket requesting v2. All is good in the v2 world. Wayne Rock Sign Quote

rnmcd Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 I just opened a second tch hosting account and each account has a different layout but both say they have the same "Theme cPanel X v2.5.0" according to cPanel. How many options/layouts are there? I also noticed that one of my accounts has a "Shared Ip Address" listed in the "General Information". Any idea what this is? I also have different Perl versions. Can the servers be updated so they have the same version of software? I am on server 85 and server 44. Thank you. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 You will need to open a tech ticket to get this sorted I think. Link on top of page. Quote

I would like to know what choices are available otherwise I won't know which skin to choose. I also noticed that one of my accounts has a "Shared Ip Address" listed in the "General Information". MikeJ Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Why doesn't my second account have a "Shared Ip Address"? It's not a dedicated server. All accounts have a shared IP address (unless you have your own SSL certificate). Some servers just simply have that field display turned off. Quote
rnmcd Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I just ordered my 4th hosting package with TCH and I noticed that the cPanel theme for the new site is "cPanel X v2.5.0". That is also the 'theme' version as another of my cPanels. The thing is that the look/layout for cPanel, on the new site, is less preferred by me. How can I get my cPanel interfaces to look the same? TCH-Bruce Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Open a ticket with the help desk and they can change the skin for you. Quote
rnmcd Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 But what skin version do I tell them that I want? Both cPanels show the same version number but they appear visually different (different layouts). Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Tell the name of the domain you like and provide the information for that domain and say you want it to look like that. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I believe, but can be wrong, that the cpanel skins name are mentioned in the url so just check in the address bar what the skin is called that you want and tell them that name. Quote
