I am trying to install opendocman 1.2 for testing and it confirms:

installing...

Database Created

Database Selected

Could not set GRANT; <<<<<<<<<<<<this is the problem

when I attempt to login as admin it says that it did not find the proper tables.

I have watched it in phpmyadmin and it does not create any tables.

btw, where did the user creation and permission settings in phpmyadmin move too?

I can no longer find them since the upgrade.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.

I don't think it's possible to change the permissions through phpadmin. You can delete the user and readd them to the database using the Manage MySQL finction in cPanel.

I'm having this exact problem with opendocman. I created a user and gave ALL priviledges in cpanel/mysql account maintenance with the same results. I'm stuck.

Matzo, did you fix this problem?

I did fix the permissions problem and still have the same issue. I have read more posts by Matzo, and others, about this problem. Ultimately Matzo asked in this form:

Do I have root MySQL access?

and the response was "NO"

That is what I need to make this work.

I have created the db, but now I have to figure out how to manually set it up for this app.

thanks,

andy
