calvincarl Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 I have no clue why I am having so much trouble with this. I am looking to take a new Domain name that I just purchased, and I want to put it on an existing Hosting Account, but this Hosting Account already has a domain name on it. So I just want to replace the old domain name with the new one. I'm sure there is some way to easily do this in Cpanel, but I just can't hunt it down. Please help me out anybody ASAP. Many thanks, Calvin Quote
woesap Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Looking at most replies on issues like this I suggest that you enter a help desk ticket. BUt maybe staff or moderators have a even better idea Quote
TCH-Rick Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 There is no way to do this in CPanel, it must be changed on the server level. Submit a Help Desk request using the link at the top of this page and request a change in domain name and we will take care of it. You will need to be sure that the nameservers are set to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com with the registrar of the domain. Quote

calvincarl Posted September 1, 2004 Author Posted September 1, 2004 I am absolutely astonished. I filled out a help ticket and not even 30 minutes later I had the answer to my problem. This is the first time I have had any problem with my TCH account, and I'll be damned if you guys didn't amaze me with how fast you guys responded, and how fast my help ticket answered. So to you guys, thank you very much. Quote
