Login At Port 80 For Cpanel Adn/or Webmail ?

Hello to all,

I'm really new to web hosting (and more new to TCH, just few hours !!), and I have some questions about logins

 

I need access to webmail from work, which blocks all other ports except port 80. Is there any way to login to webmail from port 80 ? I've heard that Squirell Mail support this, but needs to be configured right. Is there any forum/thread about this ?

 

I have the same question about login to my cpanel. Is it possible to login through port 80 ?

Yes, you can access SquirrelMail over port 80.

 

http://www.******/sqmail

You can use SquirrelMail over port 80 using http://******/sqmail to access it. There is no way to access CPanel using any other port.

I just joined TCH, because of bad (non-existent) tech support of my previous hosting company !

Well, I didn't think that some companies DO CARE about customers ! :-)

 

I wasn't expecting a reply (espacially to forum) so quickly.
