I opened an account last night and was able to access Cpanel and webmail. But for some reason I am not able to access them today morning. I tried both the www.xxx.xxx/cpanel and www.xxx.xxx:2082 urls and they failed (timed out. Error 504). The same is true with my webmail. Any ideas?

By the way I am able to access my website without any issues.

Cheers,

Andy,

Thanks for the quick response.

Unfortunately even using the IP address specified in my welcome email does not work. And anyway I think the domain name was propagated since I was able to access cpanel, last night, using my domain name.

Hi,

Open a support ticket, and we'll take a look for you.

As to the propagation - it's not like flicking a big switch, it actually takes a while (up to 72 hours typically) and during that time, you will sometimes see your domain, and sometimes not when using the domain name. This depends on the route you take. So it would be perfectly normal to be able to see it one day (or hour) and not the next during propagation.

Thanks for all your help and making me feel part of the "family". :D

I was finally able to get the issue resolved. I looks like I can't access cpanel/webmail from work probably due to the ports being blocked.

Once again thank for all the quick responses. You guys rock!!

Cheers,

Sreenivas
