Subdomains And Phpbb Installation

Well the thread title pretty much sums up my question, but I was just wondering if it's possible to do the turnkey installation through Cpanel to a subdomain...on the install screen, I only see the option "http://justbishop.com/ [textarea]"

 

Or would I need to download the entire phpbb package from them and ftp it to the subdomain myself?

Not possible through the cPanel install but it can be done by installing it manually I believe.

Here is what I did and it worked.

 

First install your bb in ******/folder, naming the folder what you want the subdomain to be.

 

Then create the subdomain. I just did this and when I go to sub.**** it works.

This is the best way to do it and what I have done.

 

Note though that if you delete the sub domain, you will still need to delete the folder manually as it wasn't cpanel which created the folder in the first place!

 

(Cpanel will delete a subdomain folder if it creates it itself)
