mike Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 when I send out email ( via outlook express ), it goes fine if I send it with my frontiernet address but when I send mail out via my TCH mail server I get the following msg from zone alarm: outlook express is trying to send "ebay password" to mail.michaelstreeter.com can you shed some light on that? What is their about sending an email that has anything to do with "ebay password"? Rock Sign Quote
natimage Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 (edited) Mike...the first thing that I would do if this happened to me, is run an up to date virus check on my system, and then I would run something like STINGER, just to be sure the computer is not infected with anything that is trying to get at your stored passwords. When you know you are virus free, and you feel comfortable with the fact that there is no sensitive information on your computer that Outlook could possibly get at, then you can start troubleshooting the problem. Which version of Zonealarm are you running? Are you trying to use different SMTP settings on each of your Outlook accounts? Edited June 7, 2004 by natimage Quote
TCH-Dick Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Check the Zone Alarm Forums, I think they have a problem with their eBay Password Protection and all webmail type accoounts. Quote
