OK...I'm dumb when it comes to PHP...but I thought you could turn this on or off for a particular script within the PHP code???

I'm probably just getting it confused with something else, though...

I am looking for a script to do this, one can not turn it off for a specific account at the server level though, how the question was worded. An individual script may be able to override that for a particular site.

Thanks. Do I need to create a .htaccess file for each subdomain if I want to disable register_globals for it?

If your visitors are accessing the site by the subdomain, as is the purpose of a subdomain, then yes you will.
