m_zeltser Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 In my company all ports are blocked by default except http(80) and https(443) ports. How can I access webmail/cpanel without going through 20XX ports? Any tunneling client I can use? Mike. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 you can access sqmail over port 80 at domain.com/sqmail I'm not aware of any tenneling client to access cpanel Quote
m_zeltser Posted May 12, 2004 Author Posted May 12, 2004 I have tried http://****/sqmail I still cannot connect, the error message from browser is different this time. It says HTTP 404 - File not found. For http://****/cpanel I get "Cannot find server or DNS Error" Which is firewall issue. Should I configure something in cpanel before I can use sqmail? Quote
m_zeltser Posted May 12, 2004 Author Posted May 12, 2004 I think it has. Ping on domain name gives me address that was given me in welcom e-mail from tch. In any case I have tried with the ip as well http://<ip address from welcome e-mail>/sqmail Quote
TCH-Rick Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 Without a domain name it is hard to diagnose such errors. I would suggest submitting a Help Desk ticket at the link at the top of this page and we can be sure that SquirrelMail is working correctly. Quote
