Congrats Robert -
At a recent computer exposition (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated: "If General Motors had kept up with the technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon." In response to Bill's comments, GM issued a press release stating: If General Motors had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics: 1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash twice a day. 2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car. 3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull over to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason, you would simply accept this. 4. Occasionally, executing a manoeuvre such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine. 5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive -- but would run on only five percent of the roads. 6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single "General Protection Fault" warning light. 7. The airbag system would ask "Are you sure?" before deploying. 8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna. 9. Every time GM introduced a new car, car buyers would have to learn to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car. 10. You'd have to press the "Start" button to turn the engine off.

I have set up a subdomain for a site and some email adresses for people who are "allowed" to use this subdomain. I used the webprotect to password it and then created emailadresses name@blah.domain.se To get in to both subdomain and email they use same password but individual for each person. Is there some way i can create a password recovery for them? If i had used same password for everything i could have made a autoresponder at password@domain.se but since its individual login names and pw i figure i cant? And yep, i know its spelled recovery even if topic says something else. Can i change that some way?

Help! Can't Upload To Correct Folder!
TCH-Thomas replied to BrianTheMisfitWebmaster's topic in Cute Site Builder & Cute FTP
I have never used amember so i dont know how that works...but as far as i know no script should interfer with the upload/update through CSB. Does it upload at all, or does it upload but to wrong folder? If not uploading at all, reinstall over existing and see what happens. If it uploads but to wrong folder, are you sure you or CSB havent changed any settings in file > publish site > options > host setup > publish to subdirectory or modify (siteinfo) ? Its perfectly normal (atleast in my case) that it says the files are identical, but usually its worth to republishing. -
Im a cuteSITE builder since i have never understood any other program.

I will give a longer review when i later this year (april) renew my hosting for a second year, but with the service so far...you are stuck with me for life.

Hm... you put me in to a tricky situation now. Should I tell or should I try to come UP with a bad lie to get myself out of this? No, I refuse to lie but also reveal where i find these things, not that it is a secret but due to its a family forum, i shouldnt tell. Sorry.

UP There is a two-letter word that perhaps has more meaning than any other two-letter word, and that is "UP". It's easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we waken in the morning, why do we wake UP? At a meeting, why does a topic come UP? Why do we speak UP and why are the officers UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report? We call UP our friends, we use it to brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, we warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and some guys fix UP the old car. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses. To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special. A drain must be opened UP because it is stopped UP. We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP. If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more. When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP. When the sun comes out we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, it wets UP the earth. When it doesn't rain for awhile, things dry UP. One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it UP, for now my time is UP, so I'll shut UP! Confused? Click the UP arrow and start read again or click the button to open UP a reply box and list other sentences that comes UP in your head that uses the word UP.

Ok, I get it now...I think. Thank you.
