If it is text ads, (from for example google), I don´t think there is much you can do, since the ads are "picked up" by your site so to speak. The google server and your server needs to communicate with each other and if googles server is slow for the moment, there will be a delay before they show up I believe.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I am not sure if I understand you correct but if I do... A subdomain isn´t anything but a subfolder so, subdomain.your-tch-hosted-domain.com would be same as your-tch-hosted-domain.com/subfolder So making a subdomain of your-tch-hosted-domain.com/dir1/dir2/dir3 is not possible, but I can be wrong on this so lets wait for someone to confirm this (or correct me).

I don´t use either Frontpage or Publisher so this may not be worth much but I loaded your homepage in 2 seconds, I´m on high-speed but still, its pretty fast. I also checked your site with one of the Website analyzers on the internet and it told me that your site loads pretty fast on various speeds (compared to some others I have checked).

I know there are millions of rss feeds for news on the internet but does anyone know if there are any reliable rss feeds for international weather. I have found some but they all either claims to be experimental and not something to be reliable or they are U.S only which unfortunately doesn´t help me. Thanks in advance.

I am not saying it will solve the issue, but a reinstallation is what I would do if my forum was not too busy, and if that won´t solve it, dig a little deeper. As for saving the posts and reinstallation, I think you would only need to download a mysql backup in cpanel, delete the forum as well as the mysql database, upload the mysql database from the back up and reinstall the forum. This is what I would do, but there may be an easier solution, so hold on and there may be someone that knows exactly what to do, or you can see in the phpbb forum if anyone else have run in to this problem.

I don´t have too much experience with phpbb, but this sure sounds weird. Are you running the latest version 2.0.15, downloadable here? If no, I strongly suggest that you upgrade it so you both get rid of eventual security problems and perhaps this problem will solve itself. If you do run the latest version and the forum isn´t too lively yet, I think you should delete the current installation and reinstall it.

If I'm using Frontpage, can I anticipate any problems? I don´t use Frontpage myself, but I have understood that there is no problem using it at TCH. Do you provide telephone support? If you don't have telephone support, do you have live chat support 24 hours a day? For billing issues, yes. For technical issues, you will need to use any of the following options here, preferrably the help desk which is staffed 24/7. Please note that the helpdesk can not help you with any 3rd party scripts, you will need to contact the author or respective scripts forum or ask in this forum. I click on hyperlink. I click on the place I want it to go. I click ok. It works, and then later on everything breaks again. I had a look at one of swedens most known onlineshops and they didn´t have Rosewill. They had the most worldknown brands: LG, Viewsonic, Samsung and so on.

Thanks Bruce and Bill. 2000 Swedish money is a good price for a new monitor, so I will definately check if any stores sells Rosewill here in Sweden.

I am in need of a new monitor so I am thinking about going for a flat screen. I know a little about good old monitors, but nothing about flat screens, except that Jessicas flat screen monitor is great but too expensive for my wallet. Is there a special brand/model that is better than others or is there some I should not get? Other things I should think about when I make a decision? Any recommendations appreciated.

While the link isn´t on top of the page here in the forum, along with Web Hosting Home, Forum Guidelines, Help Desk and TCH Status, the link to the family pages are in the "About us" menu on all pages on the main site and also in the site map for those that for various reasons can´t use the flash menu. But I agree with you that it should probably be easily found here in the forum too and I will discuss it with the others and see what we can do.
