I second the idea of using external hard drives. I was going to make backups today. There was some DVD´s (RW) that I had forgotten write on the cover what they contained so I had to check them before I erased them. They were broken and I had only used them one time so far. I amglad it was a backup and not a restore I was going to do.

He did that Rob, according to the original post. If neither port 25 or 26 works, I believe your Isp are blocks them and you will need the smtp settings from your Isp. I got this problem and using my Isp´s settings works fine. The (TCH) pop settings should work though.
