Welcome to the forum, rwbronco. Have you made sure that you have absolutely nothing at all in your root directory, no matter it is installed by Fantastico or not.

Downloaded and tested Safari now. I do not like it! It doesn´t show my blog (wordpress) as it should.

To download a database backup: Log in to cpanel Click "Backups" Scroll down to "Download a MySQL Database Backup" and click the forum database link. This will save a copy on your local computer. To download the forum files I would use the"home backup" option in the backup section. It will download more than you need, but on the other hand you will have a backup of all your files in your account. To upgrade SMF manually, please check their upgrade tutorial here.

Just for the record... I have not checked your site in a couple of days, but right now I see something that looks like the default theme.

You should be able to remove or change almost anything you want.

No, I was referring only to the htaccess file and the permalinks not the theme.

If you have updated/played around with either permalinks or the htaccess file in general, you should first check Bruce´s "Your problem is you have two wordpress rewrites in your .htaccess file" a little bit back in this thread, since that fixed it earlier.

You could try to set up another wordpress blog in a test folder in your account (use fantastico). Then install a theme I know that works. You can find the silver lexus theme here. Do not use any permalinks, just a "out-of-the box-installation". Then let us know if that works.

What happens if you extract everything on your local computer first and then upload the extracted folder to themes?

Both sites loads fine for me. I would open a ticket and ask the techs to look in to it. Perhaps a firewall stopping your ip or similar.

While I have not heard anything about why it has been removed I would assume that either the people behind Fantastico or TCH itself have removed it due to too many problems with those scripts. You should still be able to install and upgrade it manually though.
