HTML/Java Chat Room phpMyChat I need to install a temporary chat room for an event, which of the two options works best and is most stable of the two cpanel choices? I'm interested in hearding the experiences of the people who have it installed and any advice from the experience. Thanks!

I've submitted to both dmoz.org and Yahoo with no luck so far. What sucks is that I've submitted sites before that were far more amatuer and weak than this one and they got instant adds. I've gotten freshbot hits, none of this stuff has stuck around in the index for more than a day or two. Thanks, my main concern was being penalized for having pages go every which way and you think that is fine. That is all I can ask. Thanks again. Time to go play now.

every thing I see and read everywhere talks about optimizing a site ---but what if you are looking to optimize certain pages in different ways? for example I'd want 3 doors down optimized in 3 doors down and tommy emmanuel optimized in Tommy Emmanuel....if I have different pages with different tags, will the robots notice this and react accordingly or will they view one site with numerous tags on different pages as spam?

When my CD-RW drive is EMPTY it is turning on every few minutes - the problem with this is that is creates audio interference to all and any things playing audio when it happens! PLEASE HELP ME MAKE IT STOP!!!!

I'm uncertain as to what you mean on the home page - it works fine I and don't see anything in the error logs about it. Are you saying those pictures aren't viewable on you viewer? This is the first time I've heard of a problem, not saying it doesn't exist, just saying, if there is one, I have no idea what it is! The googlebot came by and hit every link on the left nav last night, but did not dig deeper.

no more like one month since google hit my front page with no links before launch. The reason that concerns me is that part of the page is dynamic, I have concerns it's not reading other pages. Yahoo was a normal submission, they've usually gotten back to my within a month before with sites taht were much less credible and organized. Just frustrated!!!

here's my problem though, I have bots coming by from places I'm linked. But not inktomi, nor google has ever gone past that one page that brought them here. Yahoo also never has accpted my submission yet, that was key in the past sites I've been with. Everytime I get a new link I ask google to crawl THAT site...anyone else got ideas on Yahoo or google full site crawls - I've doen everything in the other threads suggested. Thanks people!!!

Good bot? Bad bot? Where does this bot's data ultimately get used? which search engines?
