Is there any other way to track usage of a particular file that is not associated with a page?

arrrggh. Sorry its just one of those things I took for granted. Looked at it once a month. It was in the stat section though. as a matter of fact I think it was the first link and I had to scroll to it. It appears to be replaced by an area that just says what file types have been the most viewed whereas before it broke it down by file name.

The "new" cpanel APPEARS to be missing a section. I use to be able to tell which of my graphic files were being viewed the most. Now it only says gif. I have a need to know how much "bandwidth" a certain graphic is using. Thanks in advance for any help.

hmmmm. How bout a good reason why you need that computer. AND in order for you to "compete" you would have to vote for another. Meaning if I wrote a paragraph about why I needed the New computer I would have to "vote" for someone else getting it. Course you would have to set up some type of polling system. And keep the vote totals hidden until the final vote.

Can I give people access to phpMyAdmin and SQL server stuff? I would be creating a "folder" and giving him accerss just to that folder. Is there a way to limit the others? Thanks Jim

Along those lines I would go with the "mini" CD's. Granted it may cost a little more but when they are labled they look nice. That is PROBABLY your best solution.

Got the Adobe working fine. The Word Document when you click the view button prompts the viewer for a username/password. I even moved the document to the root of facciolli.com. You can "X" out and recieve the same results but it does not convey professionalism....

AAAAAHHHHHH. When My wife views it from her office it promts her (when viewing) to enter a UN/PW. She can hit "X" and it will view. errrrrr.

Uh....thats what I get for "selective" reading. You know only reading the parts that I think I know what the person writing is saying........ Nerd What is the best way to make a self extracting? I believe A LONG time ago I did this for something but the program eludes me. do you have a recommendation. FP 2002 BTW. Aknot

Reading it now. also so you saw my resume without any problem? If I zip and someone has winzip will it attempt to extract or DL. imadsurfer, Posted a pic on your site. I thought about what you said but I would like to try to make it as "easy" as possible and that way it looks like I know what im doing if I can get it to work that way. Meaning everyone (well almost) everyone knows the right click thingy. ALSO (i just reread the above) I do come across fairly strong and blunt. Well I was going to tell you to go here: http://facciolli.com/Resume.html And click the first test link. But it will ask you for a UN/PW......? Gee how did that happen? How can I change that? I just created the folder inwhich that doc file resides and did not assign it any permissions to the best of my knowledge.....

I create a link to my Resume. If the person has Word it will open it. I want to create two Hyperlinks one that if the person clicks they can view it and another if they click it will prompt them for a download. The books that I have read all seem to say if the person has they associating program it will open for viewing. Thanks!

Sorry been a little busy. Thanks for the replies. Yeah I seem to remember having problems in the past with FP counters. So I changed to a cgi hosted counter that also gives me stats. Thanks again for the replies.
