I saw today my stats from the Cpanel, and l noticed they state a bandwidth of 52,07 MB instead of the 793,89 stated in the Cpanel. Moreover, l have on my site a ShinyStat counter, and in this last week it counted 932 unique visits, compared with the 141 of the stats. My question then, is: do l have to worry about bandwidth?

As l promised TCH-Guru Rick, who helped me with my hundreds tickets submitted while l was completely upset for the incompetence of the old provider, who canceled ALL database modules from server without any advice, l found a way to import all archives with posts, templates, images from your old mt to the new one, even if you do not have access to main menu any longer, or if you can only download html files with programs like QuadWeb Sucker. After a week of work, l finally received the new password from my old provider to export the .db files from my old blogs. I did it and tried to run them in the new MT here on TCH but it seems they are an older version. MT Manual says l need the shell access to server l don't even know what it is!!!! Do l need to submit a ticket (l hope not to bother the guys, l already asked for two other problems...) Black Cat

Glenn! Besides l am so angry for the weather here in Milan (it was almost snowing yesterday...) l wanted to tell you that your cat in the picture is simply wonderful. I was using Berkeley db, and l actually tried to copy the whole db directory to the new MT on the server l have on TCH. The problem is that, replacing the db directory (a raw cut and paste!), l couldn't even log in to the control panel neither with old nor new user and passwords.... I noticed that in all db files the url is specified, maybe it's necessary to replace it with the new one Thank you for your replies!!!

First of all, hallo everybody from Milan, Italy. I was the webmaster of a site with 3 important weblogs, and l recently had legal problems with my previous provider that suspended the service of hosting without informing anyone. Therefore l have been not able to prepare the export files from MT, but l luckily copied ALL the content of the server via ftp. Is it possible to recover archives with posts and comments from the db files? If yes, how? Thanks everybody for your cooperation Black Cat
