Hey, carbonize - is that link for me or for abinidi? I used the link at the top and downloaded the zip, changes only, for 2.0.11 to 2.0.13. I'm wondering now if I need to replace those 3 genElectro .tpl files with the subsilver .tpl files? I don't want to replace those files and then wind up with subsilver as my style again, like I did when I updated to 2.0.11 before. If the subsilver .tpl files are something general that won't change how my board looks, then wonderful. If not, I will be a sad camper spending hours trying to figure out how to change the style back to genElectro. Thanks. Mission

Quick question: For the templates file, the 2.0.13 update includes a subsilver folder. I'm not using subsilver, but I updated the files anyhow. However, for the style I'm using, do I need to update the index_body.tpl, overall_footer.tpl & simple_footer.tpl for genElectro with the same files the upgrade includes for the subsilver style? Thx! Man! I'm late to this party! But I just started working (again) on a phpBB that I originally updated in Dec. to the 2.0.11 version. I'm glad I was checking the phpBB.com boards for help with another issue. I'm green at using phpBB and had a WHALE of a time changing my style originally (before the 2.0.11 update was done), from subsilver to genElectro. The 2.0.11 update from the cpanel converted my board back to the default subsilver, so I was not happy having to figure out how I changed it originally. But I now have it back to the genElectro design. Is it possible to update to 2.0.13 without it changing everything back to the subsilver default? And do I need to do 2.0.12 before doing 2.0.13? And how do I backup my "database and mods" as suggested by TCH-Don? I don't think I have any "mods" -- I just read what they are at phpBB.com and I haven't done anything other than change the style. Thanks, Bill. It looks like there's not much I or they can do. I'm pretty sure they're not spammers. I checked my IP address in that same dnsstuff.com service and I had THREE listings, one of which said that my IP address was being interpreted as a similar IP. I certainly am not a spammer, so it's an ISP issue. So my email could be being blocked because of "my" blacklisting, perhaps... I don't know. Funny, with all this blacklisting of innocent bystanders, most people still get mounds of spam. But innocent bystanders like dasouth & me get blacklisted. That's kinda messy.

First off, I've been meaning to say I have enjoyed hosting with you cats and I recommend you to anyone who I know needs hosting. I love your attitude, abundant features for the price, customer service responsiveness, and family ambience. (I know I only show up to the boards when I have a problem, but that's because I'm CRAZY busy. ) Anyway, I think this may be a problem with the domain where I'm sending email, or maybe between their email server and my TCH mail server? But I keep gettin' permanent errors when sending email to dasouth.com from my main TCH webmail account. The error says: A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: SMTP error from remote mailer after end of data: host dasouth.com [216.67.234.182]: 550 Administrative prohibition This has happened with 2 different email addresses there. And the dudes are surprised when I share that my emails are returned with errors because theirs are free email accounts and are their universal email addies. Can you guess what could be going on between TCH's mail servers and theirs? Have I been blocked or something? These dudes are interested in doing business with me -- they can email me, but I can't email them back. I get the error when sending the email from my main webmail account, but not from my PC. Since last night, I have been getting an error code when trying to FTP files & HTML pages from my web site to my PC. These are the errors I get: File could not be copied. Access is denied! 200 Type set to I 200 Port command successful 213 972 425 Unable to build data connection. Connection refused. I have never had this problem before. Thx.

Hi. Is there a tutorial on how to set up the phpBB forum? I was able to install it. However, when I tried to change the design, I was not successful. I've given that up now and would be satisfied if I could add my logo to the "generic" forum. I see lots of people on the web with the "generic" phpBB forum, but somehow they were able to add their logo, replacing the phpBb logo. How can I do that? Thanks. Mission

Hi. I send my newsletter via OE from my PC to an existing or non-existent TCH email addie for my domain. However, this afternoon, I keep getting a "Mail delivery failed" message from you that my newsletter couldn't be delivered to one or more of my email addresses. This has not happened before, but has happened twice today. I would use the email list function associated with my web hosting package, but I could never figure out how to add email addresses to the email list. So I've been using OE and it's not been a problem until today. Here's the message I get: "A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:" then it lists all the addies in my email list followed by: "unroutable mail domain 'aol.com' " or whatever the email address domain name is, from aol.com to yahoo.com and everthing in-between. The TCH email is from Mail Delivery System, Mailer-Daemon@server38.totalchoicehosting.com. Can someone tell me what's happening today that hasn't been happening before? I sent out a newletter mailing earlier this morning and it didn't return an error message. I also sent out another notice a few minutes before the the one that's being bounced, and it didn't bounce either. I was trying to send out a correction to the newsletter, and twice it's bounced back as undeliverable. Thanks. Mission

In the Styles Administration web page, under "Management" "Edit Theme," in the control panel for my forum, if I choose the default "subsilver," the fields for such things as "backgound color," "text color," "link color," etc. are populated. If I choose the style I uploaded, "Pixelated," none of the fields have any data. And if I preview the forum, it still has the default "subsilver" style. I don't know what I need to do to change it. Hi! Please help this newbie! I installed my board OK. I visited phpbb.com and saw that other themes/templates are available. But when I came back to my cpanel, accessed my board's admin panel & clicked on the link to add a new Style, there was nothing to click. Is "subsilver" the only theme we can use? Mission

Hi. I have created approx. 4 webmail accounts in addition to my general email account. When using Neomail, I get the following error when attempting to log out of the additional email accounts, but not for the general email account: Internal Server Error Unable to open document (./altared/webmaillogout.cgi) at cpsrvd.pl line 957 main::dodoc_cpaneld() called at cpsrvd.pl line 374 main::dodoc() called at cpsrvd.pl line 307 What is causing this, what does it mean and how can it be remedied?
