Just been reading about the cron job for backing up. Im wondering if I was to excute a cron job for a daily back up if there was another cron job to trash previous backups so as to maintain diskspace? Wayne Rock Sign

Greetings all TCHers. Thanx always...the responses I get here are spot on. Have noticed that when I do a full backup the size of the backup file in my FM is anything from 30,000k to 200,000k. Why the difference in sizes? All are tar.gz files. Regards, Wayne Rock Sign

Hi all, Im off on holiday soon and will need to access cPanel when Im away from my home PC> I currently use cookies to access the cPanel. I have forgotten the password I changed to a while ago. Gidday all...am just wondering if the awstats module is operating in realtime or at interval updates. Sometimes I check it during the day and there are no changes that I can see. Things like # of visitiors etc dont seem to change often even when I see people are online. Also awstats seems to be working on US time. Im in japan so the day/date change over is quite different. Gidday all, I have my url www.to-to-to.net that I got thru GoDaddy and directed to my TCH account. When users etc go deep into my site the url gets ugly. Thanx for all your replies. Chris, Im running 10.3 and have iChat 2.1...iSite...that all works well. Its just the persistant Windows people I associate with. Thought it might be easier for me to change than change the world...then again converting these mortals would be good for them. Have tried Yahoo but the fps rate is sad. Have also played with 1SpyQ but...the freebees work well enough. Wouldnt the world be complete if iChat AV was compaitble with MSN? Maybe something will happen soon. One can only hope. Gidday all, I am an avid Mac user but am finding the need for a Windoze computer along side my trusty iMac. What I wanna do is use my Mac for daily things like web design, mail, www`ing etc and get an el cheapo PC for video chat...that being MSN Messenger. Mac has yet to get up on this. Most of my buddies are PC`ers. They cannot be converted to the real religion...he he he. Am wondering how (if) I can just somehow connect an el cheapo second PC running say XP to my current Mac, use the existing www connection (DSL/fibre we have in the apt complex here in Japan), so that I can `see` my friends via video chat. As Rob said, seemed to be a page problem...I had been hacking some code when it screwed up, I then cpoied and pasted from a native code but that didnt work. In the end, replacing the whole top plate file did the trick. The bottom side db was fine. Thanx for all the input. I`ll be back...later than sooner hopefully. Wayne

Ive got a 136Kb file with full views of the beach...full 360* panorama as a movie file (QTVR). Gidday, I running phpbb206 on phpwebsite0932. I have a 1 pixel border around the entire forum but for some reason I have a 2 pixel border the `Forum, Topics, Posts and Last Posts` blocks. These blocks are gif`s. Does anyone know how to adjust the white surround 2 pixel border to 1 pixel? I have tried everything I know in css including changing values etc but nothing seems to work.
