Welcome to the forums. I did a Google search and came up with several hits regarding this. Check the links and see if any of them make sense to you. Most of the answers say to clear your browsing history, cache and cookies to remedy the problem.

It doesn't for Wordpress and Joomla I know for sure. Not sure about others.

A contact management software package would be the simplest route to take since you can have information everyone can see and also have a members only visible section once they sign up and log into it. Another option would be forum software.
