In your admin look at the bottom left and select a page then on the right select edit then on the 3rd tab select publish so that page will be seen in the folder you installed to. On the Etomite there are doc files that will help.

I upgraded mine and no problems. Not sure where to look for the post count problem. You say you looked at the SMF site. Did you ask at their forum?

I get that all the time. Its part of having a domain. I reduced a lot of this type of spam by turning off the catchall feature set the default address to :fail: That way only email to a valid address will get through.
