  5. Welcome to the forum Claudia I would get the hosting soon enough to get your site setup here an be sure it is working ok. If you currently have cpanel, the techs may be able to copy your site for you. just open a help ticket (link at top of page) to the techs to ask them to try and copy your site for you after you have an account. You can have folders or sub-domains for the different parts of your site like your-TCH-site/folder or create a sub-domain in cpanel sub-domain.your-TCH-site which will create the folder for you, then upload to the folder but link to the sub-domain. I don't think you will have any problems with your credit card. If you do, just open a help ticket to billing to ask for help, use none for the login and password If you need anything else, please ask

  20. Glad it worked out. hope the surgery went well and here is to a speedy recovery.
  21. You miss quoted my last part Database: YourCpanelName_YourCpanelName should be Database: YourCpanelName_yourDatabaseName But I think that is what you have. the most common problem is not creating a user and then adding the user to the database all of this in MySql. Thats what the error looks like. I too do not use OSCommernce, so if this is not it, hopefully someone that uses it will be along to help. Don't give up.

  23. just to doublecheck what you have so far. You went to cpanel > MySql and created a database then created a user and then added the user to that database all in MySql. the connection info will look like this localhost: localhost Database: YourCpanelName_yourDatabaseName user: YourCpanelName_DatabaseUserName Password: *******
