Why is there a mismatch? * Any extra if I need server setup with software RAID1? * What's the difference between managed and unmanaged? * Can the cPanel be upgraded to the version which is 9.x? * Where can I find the SLA for hardware failure? arvind Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 * What's the difference between managed and unmanaged? Semi-Managed Server = We will set up the server for you including cPanel and all the extras. We will maintain the kernel and apply any software patches that are needed. Also we will assist you in troubleshooting any software issues that may arrise. Also, we maintain and replace any defective hardware that may occur. Since you are leasing the server you incur no replacement hardware. Software installs and other non-covered are billed at $65 per hour. Fully Managed = You name it. Everything as above but our techs will install and maintain any additional software or troubleshoot problems with cPanel at no charge. BTW I think there aren't any dedicated servers left because no new annoucement was posted on that thread ! The thread can be found here Quote
