originally Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 I've always used Outlook as my mail client and everything's worked fine, but recently I've been getting error messages over and over when I try to send mail using my mail server on my domain. The message I'm getting is this: Task 'mail.originally.org - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' Does anyone have any idea what's causing this? Quote
TCH-Rick Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 It may be that your ISP has started blocking port 25 to external mail servers. You can try changing the port to port 26 in Outlook under the advanced options. You can also try removing the mail. in front of the smtp host and just use your domain name or IP address. Quote
