justbishop Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 I'm really confused! I haven't gotten anything, not even spam, for about a week now, and finally decided to use my old yahoo email account to send a test email today. I've been using NeoMail with my me@justbishop.com addy ever since I've had the domain name, which has been about a year, and never had a problem before. Now I'm not recieving anything, but it'll still send fine :-/ The only things I can think of that may be different is that in the past week, I've given some of my forum staff email addresses with the suffix of my parked domain (fangirlonline.com.) It's only four addresses, and they're all forwarded to the staff's original yahoo, hotmail, etc. addresses. Could this be affecting MY email box? Quote
MikeJ Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 Even if you had a me@justbishop.com listed in the forwarding, as long as me@justbishop.com exists as an actual mailbox, it should still be getting email. Make sure you aren't running into a quota limit. You may want to request a help desk ticket, though, so someone can take a quick look at your setup and might spot something quickly that is misconfigured. Quote
justbishop Posted April 12, 2004 Author Posted April 12, 2004 yeah, it still exists...I think, as the default addy. Thx for taking a look, I'll def. submit a help ticket ETA: ok, I was wrong, it's not the default, but it IS still there. And it's not even using 1mb of the 10mb alotted to it. Quote
Virtual Imager Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 Hi.... hope your problem is solved via the help desk. If so, could you please let us all know what the problem was and how it was corrected. Sounds like something that could happen to us all. Thanks, VI Quote
justbishop Posted April 12, 2004 Author Posted April 12, 2004 Ok, I think the problem is solved, though I did have to stop using NeoMail and start using Horde (which I like better anyway.) I wish I had some more info about what was wrong, but the help desk really took care of everthing. All they needed was a password to the problem email box Quote
TCH-Don Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 Have you tried squirrel mail? yourdomain/sqmail I like it a little better than horde. Quote
