rachelml Posted April 10, 2004 Author Posted April 10, 2004 Wow the response was so fast! i would definitely recommend TCH to my friends Rock Sign thanks a lot! my friend and i are using the same ISP to access the Internet. no worries now Just curious-what is ISP caching server? :Nerd: Quote
TCH-Rob Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Many ISP's use a caching server to store frequently accessed web pages localy instead of having to have you get them across the internet each time you try and access that site. It is like the cache your computer stores but on a much larger scale. If you are on a windows box you can also try pressing Ctrl-F5 and see if that helps as well. Here is a link I found that may explain it better http://help.sasknet.com/faq/cache_servers.html Quote
stevevan Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 As TCH-Rob said, I would suspect your ISP of doing some caching. "Coming soon" loads fast for me in Florida. Quote
rachelml Posted April 11, 2004 Author Posted April 11, 2004 Thanks for the help!! Problem is resolved now I just checked my site today and see the page "coming soon" on both links Thumbs Up Quote
