bmccart Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 First of all: I have the silver hosting plan and "Anonymous Setup" is available from cpanel under ftp. Under anonymouse ftp controls I can allow/disallow both anonymous ftp access, and anonymous uploads to /incoming. My question is: Are these features supported for a silver plan. If not, should they be showing up in cpanel? Second: When I do an anonymous ftp connection to my site (mccart.us) I can connect. There is an empty pub/ & mail/ folder. These are not the pub and mail folders under my public_ftp/. Clearly something is wrong here. This shouldn't be happening whether or not the silver hosting plan supports anonymous ftp access. If any body has an answer or a suggestion I would greatly apreciate it as the answer I got when I submitted a problem ticket to technical support was "To use anonymous FTP you will have to purchase a dedicated IP from us".
