Ahkileez Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 I used my Cpanel to install the mailing list, which gives me Mailman. I can't say I'm too happy with it. I don't have a lot of backend experience, but I guess I just find it a bit too complicated. And the archive page leaves a *lot* to be desired since my list will require users to be able to refer to the archive and I'd like for it to be easy to use and attractive. I was wondering if anyone here had any alternatives? Basically what I need is an email-discussion list, similar to yahoo's eGroups, or ListServ, Majordomo or Sympa. Something like that that's powerful, relatively easy to used, and 'polished' looking. Any help is appreciated Quote
Ahkileez Posted March 18, 2004 Author Posted March 18, 2004 I think I may have found a good alternative named Mailgust, it's nice and slick looking. But I can't seem to be able to get it to work even though I've done everything they said. Maybe one of the gurus here can help me sort out something I missed or did wrong. http://mailgust.phpoutsourcing.com/index.php Quote
stmpspaz Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Did you ever get your Mailgust to work on your system? I seem to have it all set up, but it will not send or receive emails. Quote
TCH-RobertM Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Hi stmpspaz, Welcome to the Forums, I have never used that product so I do not have an answer for you about that. Hang in there, there are many folks here that might have some information reguarding that package. Again Welcome aboard. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Welcome to the forums, stmpspaz. Can't say that I've ever used that software either, sorry. Quote
