I have 2 phpbb forums running on this server (seperate folders of course)

The first one I installed works fine for me. I do have one member who said it won't remember him, but other than that it's problem free.

On the second forum I'm running into various problems, like not letting me log in, or when I do get logged in I can't log out.

Most of the time if I close my browser and clear my cookies it will fix it, but not always.

The most recent session I was logged in as Administrator and I logged out. Then I tried to log back in using my "handle" It kept kicking me back to the main index (view forums) page and I was not logged in. (the login button was visible and I did not have access to the places I would have if I was logged in) However at the bottom where it shows who's on-line it listed both the Administrator AND the name I was trying to log in with.

I've tried changing the boxes in the config that say cookie domain etc.. no luck.

P.S.

I am using subdomains in the second case. Could that be part of the problem?

Internally should I list links as "****/subforum" or is "subforum.****" OK?

It's more than likely a problem with cookies, under configuration in the phpbb admin panel try setting the cookie domain to .yourdomainname.com (make sure and include the " . " dot)

Well.....that might be a problem since I STILL can't get to the Admin page.

Apparently I missed a cookie. I finally got in after I deleted several cookies

Still having problems with this.

If I create a regular user account. I seem to be able to log in just fine. However if I use either of my admin accounts, I have problems logging in.
