guita01 Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I have 2 phpbb forums running on this server (seperate folders of course) The first one I installed works fine for me. I do have one member who said it won't remember him, but other than that it's problem free. On the second forum I'm running into various problems, like not letting me log in, or when I do get logged in I can't log out. Most of the time if I close my browser and clear my cookies it will fix it, but not always. The most recent session I was logged in as Administrator and I logged out. Then I tried to log back in using my "handle" It kept kicking me back to the main index (view forums) page and I was not logged in. (the login button was visible and I did not have access to the places I would have if I was logged in) However at the bottom where it shows who's on-line it listed both the Administrator AND the name I was trying to log in with. I've tried changing the boxes in the config that say cookie domain etc.. no luck. Quote

TCH-Dick Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 It's more than likely a problem with cookies, under configuration in the phpbb admin panel try setting the cookie domain to .yourdomainname.com (make sure and include the " . " dot) Quote
