TCH-Rick Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 (edited) The mail server for the domain is set up incorrectly. Here is a test of the address: Getting MX record for siouxcityengineering.com... Got it! Host Preference IP(s) {Country} 216.203.100.222. 50 {Bogus MX record - 216.203.100.222. is supposed to be a hostname, not an IP!} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step 1: Try connecting to the following mailserver: {ERROR; a few mailservers will connect to 216.203.100.222., but they aren't supposed to} Step 2: If still unsuccessful, queue the E-mail for later delivery. The MX is set up with an IP rather than a hostname so the message is bouncing. Tech support for the company hosting siouxcityengineering.com should be contacted.
