vplaza Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 I have been having trouble with the IMAP server using Outlook 2003 lately. Every 30-40 minutes I get an error message saying that "IMAP server as closed the connection". Anyone else having this problem or know how I can fix it? I tried changing the idle setting to 10 minutes, and I still get the error. Again, this just started within the past two weeks or so. Thanks. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Whats your domain name and I'll take a look Quote
ThumpAZ Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 I have been noticing the same thing happening in OL2K over the last several days as well. I thought it was just my use of IP-intensive apps, but we may be on to something. I have opened a service ticket regarding it. -GG Quote
vplaza Posted February 17, 2004 Author Posted February 17, 2004 Glad to hear it's not just my computer. Let me know what you hear back. Quote
vplaza Posted February 18, 2004 Author Posted February 18, 2004 Did you ever hear anything about the problem? Quote
ThumpAZ Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Not really. A test was run by Sujit in support and IMAP was fine at that moment. I sent a reply stating that the issue is intermittent and that I know it will be hard to see thanks to that. However, I have not had any issues with IMAP since the day after this was posted. Are you still experiencing problems? Above, Mike asked for your domain name so he can look into this. Did you provide him with any info? He really is the one that will be able to get this sort of thing taken care of quickly. Since you do not provide info in your profile that can lead the mods to your server#, it is very time consuming to try and back track to where you are. Give Mike a jingle either in here or through PM's or some other means and he will help you get through this. -GG Quote
vplaza Posted February 19, 2004 Author Posted February 19, 2004 I missed Mike's reply, but I will get in contact with him, thanks! Quote
