Grrr! I can't figure out why my graphics won't show up. I mean like if I load them each seperately and then go back to the page they show up, but if I just go to the page they are all broken images. What the heeck is going on that it would do that? Mad!!!

Serena-Chan,

What is the URL? If it is www.bitofhappiness. com site, then I don't have a problem seeing images.

FYI, you may want to take a look at your site in Mozilla, the layout is kind of screwed up, but looks fine in IE. I can post a screen print if you would like.

Serena-chan,

There has been discussion of this before, and I recently have had the same issue on my site viewing with IE. When you type your URL into the address bar, put a "/" at the end and see if your images come up.

I can't explain what the difference is...but I have to do it with one of my sites currently, or the images don't show up.

Hope this helps!

hmm...that is strange!

I tried her site in IE with the / and without and the images don't show up without the /.

I don't use IE normally, so I tried a couple of my sites in IE and it doesn't seem to matter if the / is at the end.

Tracy, did anyone discover why it does that? I don't recall that thread.

I tried your two sites listed in your sig, and it only happened to one (the photography site)..I wonder if it matters if the URL is typed in, or pasted in...

I don't think I found exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm wondering if it doesn't have something to do with hotlinking. Serena-chan...do you have hot-linking enabled on your site?

I'll play with my settings and see if it has any effect.

I don't think it has anything to do with hotlinking. I'm wondering if there is a particular browser setting that effects it.

Here at work, when I view the page in IE 6, if I leave the / off the end of the URL, the browser puts it in automatically. At home it didn't do that...maybe someone more familiar with IE browser settings will have an answer.
