I haven't found any help sections on TCH's help pages regarding this, nor have I seen anything in the forums, so here's my noob question. ;)

I installed a simple guestbook, made a test entry, but when I go to View Guestbook on my cpanel, nothing comes up.

Is there something else I need to do to make it work? I've never done anything with cgi-bin before but I'm guessing it's something simple I'm missing.

Also, can I make a page come up when they click on Submit to say something like

"Thank you for signing my guestbook"?

Thanks for your help :)

Not from within cPanel, access the guestbook page directly:

yoursite.com/guestbookdirectory/

*yoursite.com is your domain address

*guestbookdirectory is where you told cpanel to install it.

Also, I moved your post from the Tutorial Suggestions forum for more exposure.

I ended up changing to the Advanced Guestbook. When I first read the option, I thought I had to know SQL to do it, but Lianna showed me how easy it was.

I don't know what I did wrong with the simple one, but I'm betting I needed to specify someplace for the information to go.

But Lianna's right - this is WAY better than the simple guestbook so I'm not going to worry about it. :)

Thanks!!!
