TCH-Thomas Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 Hi, On KW´s CSB-support it says Note: it will be necessary to first manually delete the default index.html file that TCH places in your web directory. You may do this by going to http://******/cPanel I am about to publish a new site to a new server and have forgotten how i did with my first site here. As i recall i did NOT delete it, but i may have. -Thomas Quote
Lianna Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 Hey, Thomas! Open cPanel for the new site and then go to the File Manager. Navigate into public_html and see if there is a index.html there Click on it once and then click the Delete link on the right. That should do it. Quote
KevinW Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 that's right ... or simply use IE, and access your web site via ftp directly -- something like this: ftp://username:password@ftp.yourdomainname.com I also have this information available on my CSBSupport web site - here's the link: http://www.csbsupport.com/ftpinfo.htm -kw Quote
RJSkon Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 KW I notice when I publish using CSB V 4.0.0.108, both the index.html and index.htm are uploaded, it's not like the old Trellix PA where only the index.htm file is uploaded. Can I assume that the index.html file will overwrite any existing index.html file that was not created using CSB? I published a one page test file, you can see the files here, http://www.rjskon.com/html_test/TlxTransfer.txt Richard Quote
