The following steps were created using FrontPage 2002. Depending on the version you are using, the steps may be different.

 

1. Open a browser window.

 

2. From the Start menu, select Programs, click Microsoft FrontPage.

 

3. From the File menu, click Open.

 

4. Navigate to, and select the file to be opened, click Open.

Your Web file will open in FrontPage.

 

5. From the File menu, click Publish Web.

 

6. From the Publish Web dialog box, in the Specify the location to publish your web to box, enter the domain name of the site into which you want to publish your Web pages, click Publish.

 

7. If you are updating an existing Web page, click to expand Options, then click to select Publish changed pages only.

 

8. From the Name and Password Required dialog box, enter your Name and Password

 

9. Click OK.

 

You will see a series of windows indicating that FrontPage is publishing the selected Web files

 

When you receive the message Web site published successfully, click Done.

 

Alternatively, click Click here to view your published web site to open your Web site.
