maksmom Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 HI, I'm not sure where I need to ask this question at, but I currently have the No Right Click script from Dynamic Drive on my pages. When I open up cpanel and work on a page, when I view it I get a script error, and my NRC doesnt work anymore. If I recopy & paste my NRC code then it works. If I view my source when its not working its putting ampersands signs & different things in the coding. Am I going to have to recopy & paste the NRC code every time I want to change something on my pages? Thanks! Quote
TCH-Dick Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 The file manager in cPanel is'nt my first choice for editing HTML, it's been known to add code you dont want added. Your better off with a good text editor and an FTP program. Quote
maksmom Posted November 11, 2003 Author Posted November 11, 2003 Thanks Mike! I've never used a text editor before like Frontpage etc, do you recommend any easy to understand ones? lol Quote
TCH-Dick Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 Well, Frontpage is bad about adding code also, although it usually still works. I use araneae, it doesnt add anything and its easy to use, and best of all it's free! . You can get it from http://www.araneae.com/ Quote
Lianna Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 My choices are CuteHTML and CuteFTP. Super easy, but not free. You can look more at http://globalscape.com Try Notepad. Yup, the plain jane version that comes with Windows. Then just use file manager in cPanel to FTP the file and replace the old. Quote
