a__kc Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 Hi, The cPanel Counter script has trouble logging a hit on the .dat file, so I got rid of ".dat". That works but now the problem is I am unable to reset it to a count from my previous life (I mean, host). Anyway to fix either of these problems? I still don't understand why the default "user.dat" file access does not work, though it seems to be a common enough problem to have been documented in the FAQ. If all fails, I will just have to install my own script. Thanks. Quote
TCH-JimE Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Hi, Delete the coding and start from scratch. Give the counter a name, not user or your cpanel name either. Jim Quote

TCH-JimE Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Hi, No worries, it took me time to figure it out the first time I came across using such counters Jim Quote
