!!blue Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Help! I just upgraded to Mozilla Firebird 0.7 and the browser has no scrollbars. Even with different themes! And I've deleted the Mozilla folder and re-installed the latest build twice and still no scrollbars. Not that it's killing me, but it is bothersome. And apparently it's a known bug (see link), but has it been fixed? Does anyone know what's going on? http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221079 thanks, !!blue Quote
TCH-JimE Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Hi, I cant see a fix for it yet, but you can always clean your registery up and see if that fixes it Jim Quote
borfast Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 You can also try downloading a recent build. Go to texturizer.net's Firebird page and download a nightly build to give it a try: http://texturizer.net/firebird/ Quote
!!blue Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 I will try the most recent build; Also, how do I go about cleaning out the registry? 'Nother question: when I install the new build, how do I keep my extensions? Every time I do a new build, I hafta re-install the extensions; gets kinda annoying. thanks! !!blue Quote
TCH-JimE Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 Hi 1) You have to reinstall extentions each time, there is no way around this. I suggest you dont reinstall them till you find one that works 2) Back up the registery and make sure you know how to repair it if it goes wrong. If your using XP, make a system restore too. BAsically download something like norton utilities (they do like a 30 day trial) or something similar which includes a registery cleaner jim Quote
