This is the 3rd time in a month this has happened to me. I go to try and load my site and I see this:

ERROR: Database error: MySQL Error (1016). Please contact the webmaster and report the exact error message.

Session halted.

So then when I check mySQL (via phpMyAdmin), I always find one table (and all 3 times a different table) which gives me this error:

Can't open file: 'story.MYI'. (errno: 145)

Error

SQL-query :

SHOW KEYS FROM `story`

MySQL said:

Can't open file: 'story.MYI'. (errno: 145)

I had been just reloading the table from a backup, but that's getting old fast.

I know this isn't much to go on, but any hint as to what's going on? Anything in particular I should look for? I haven't changed anything recently either.

Thanks!

From a Google search ... http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&...sie.NCTU.edu.tw

From Sun

Cannot send after transport endpoint shutdown

=============================================

A request to send data was disallowed because the transport endpoint has

already

been shut down.

The symbolic name for this error is ESHUTDOWN, errno=143.

are you sure the MySQL Server you are running to is up???

Heh, thanks anyways.

I'll try looking around some more (need to get my google search count up anyways;) and see if I can find anything useful. So far I havn't. So I'll just cross my fingers for now and maybe I'll get lucky and it won't happen again...
