Unable To Access "_private" Folder

Hi. I was trying to access my _private folder like before and noticed that it says I am not authorized with my password. I logged onto cPanel and noticed the new interface, and went and added a new user to the folder _private and tried again. Still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!
