Scott Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 Yuck! I have went through the steps in c-panel to submit a website to search engine on 2 different occasions over 2 months. None of the search engines have picked it up. I went through the same process with another site I have and it has picked that site up-pretty quickly. Can you advise why this is happening and how to get it out there? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 automated submissions generally dont work well, your best bet is to manually submit your site to various search engines. Quote
Wilexa Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 I agree. Manual submissions are best. The Cpanel thing doesn't really work. I would encourage you to add your site to the TCH family (if you haven't already). There is a forum here for just such a purpose. Google (for one) ranks the TCH family pages pretty well and googlebot will follow the link to your site. I would also recommend submitting your site to the Open Directory Project (dmoz.org) to get another relatively-important link. Good luck. ...Dave Quote
SEO Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 I would echo the words of both Mike and Wilexa (good job guys Thumbs Up ). Quote
